AI Social Media Manager is the second new role added to GoHighLevel's AI Employee bundle, and its job is narrower than it sounds: draft post copy from a short brief, then queue it for approval before anything actually goes live.

From a brief to a draft

Give it a topic, a promotion, a seasonal message, and it produces post copy sized for the platform it is going to, along with a suggested image direction and posting time based on the account's own history. The drafts land in a content calendar view spanning Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X, each shown with its own status.

Nothing posts without approval

Every draft sits in a Draft or Scheduled state until a person reviews it. That approval step is deliberate: an AI drafting social copy at volume is useful, an AI publishing to a business's public feed unsupervised is a different risk entirely, and GoHighLevel's implementation keeps a human in the loop before anything ships.

For a business or agency managing content across several channels, the time saved is in the first draft, the blank page problem, not in removing the review step. The account still decides what actually goes out.
